Position: Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, or ASW)
Specializing in Services for Clients with Complex Needs
Citrus Counseling Services (CCS) is seeking a compassionate Associate Therapist to join our Victorville office. This role focuses on providing individual therapy to clients with complex or intensive clinical needs. The therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy to clients with complex clinical needs.
- Create and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation consistent with county contract requirements.
- Manage higher-acuity caseloads with a focus on stabilization, functional improvement, and community integration.
- Participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate client care.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and community outreach events.
- Contribute to the mission and goals of CCS through your clinical and organizational contributions.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health discipline.
- Registered as an AMFT, ASW, APCC and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Experience in community mental health, county-contracted programs, intensive outpatient settings or with clients who have complex or intensive behavioral health needs.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and knowledgeable in clinical documentation standards.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable.
