Switchboard Operator Citrus Cardiology Consultants - Ocala, FL $14 - $16 an hour Overview Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator to join our team in Ocala. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient communication between patients, providers, and staff by managing incoming calls, routing messages, and providing excellent customer service to those seeking care. Duties Operate multi-line phone systems to handle a high volume of incoming calls efficiently. Greet callers warmly and provide them with accurate information or direct them to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a professional demeanor while managing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Perform data entry tasks as needed, ensuring accurate record-keeping of calls and messages. Assist with clerical duties at the front desk, including filing, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence. Support dispatching needs by coordinating communication between departments or teams as required. Collaborate with administrative staff to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency. Skills Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems is essential. Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills are required for effective interaction with callers. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. Experience in data entry and clerical tasks is beneficial for maintaining organized records. Previous front desk or administrative experience will be an advantage in this role. Strong typing skills are necessary for efficient documentation and correspondence handling.
