We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PV Lab Registered Nurse to join our Leesburg team and support our growing practice.
Position Summary:
The PV Lab Registered Nurse plays a key role in providing high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing peripheral vascular procedures. The RN will work closely with cardiologists, vascular specialists, and the cath lab team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with peripheral vascular/cardiac procedures in the lab environment.
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to patients throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
- Administer medications and IV therapy in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on pre-procedure preparation, recovery, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Support quality and safety initiatives within the PV Lab.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab, PV Lab, ICU, ER, or other critical care setting strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities.
