We are expanding our installation team and looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who wants to grow with a company at the forefront of wildfire mitigation.Position OverviewThe Wildfire Defense Systems Installer / Crew Technician plays a critical role in CitroTech’s field operations. In this role, you will:Install CitroSafeTM tanks, pumps, rooftop sprinkler systems, piping, and related componentsInteract professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsiteTravel across California for multi-day installations (as needed)Uphold our standards for workmanship, communication, and customer experienceThis role blends elements of construction, light plumbing, electrical, digging/trenching, irrigation/pump work, and basic carpentry. We provide training on all CitroTech systems, methods, and safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Field WorkInstall and configure wildfire defense system components (tanks, pumps, rooftop sprinklers, piping, valves, hose runs, etc.)Perform trenching, digging, mounting hardware, anchoring systems, and sealing penetrationsRun plumbing lines (PVC, HDPE, copper depending on system) and electrical wiring for pumpsTest and verify system operationFollow installation checklists, system drawings, and QC/QA proceduresCustomer InteractionCommunicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and site contactsSet expectations and explain basic system functions and operationRepresent CitroTech professionally on high-end residential and commercial propertiesSafety, Quality & Jobsite ManagementMaintain safe working practices and adhere to all OSHA and company safety requirementsKeep jobsites clean, organized, and protectedDocument installations through photos, forms, and daily job logsAssist with loading trucks, staging materials, and maintaining tools and equipmentTravelTravel throughout California for installations (company-paid travel, lodging, and per diem)Adapt to changing schedules based on weather, fire season, and customer needsRequired QualificationsStrong work ethic; dependable, punctual, and professionalAbility to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying conditionsBasic experience in any of the following areas:Plumbing / irrigation / construction / landscapingPumps or pressure systemsElectrical (low-voltage preferred)Carpentry / mounting / drillingComfortable interacting with customers at high-end residential propertiesValid driver’s license and clean driving recordPreferred Experience (Not Required)Experience installing or servicing pumps, irrigation systems, water tanks, or sprinklersExperience on construction sites or in mechanical service workAbility to read simple plans/drawingsAny knowledge of wildfire behavior, defensible space, or WUI (Wildland Urban Interface) concepts (training provided)What We OfferCompetitive hourly wages ($28 – $38 per hour, depending on experience)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid travel, lodging, and per diem for out-of-area workCompany tools, PPE, and gearClear career advancement path:Installer → Lead Installer → Project Lead → Regional LeadTraining and certification in CitroTech’s Wildfire Defense SystemsOpportunity to be part of a fast-growing company making a real impact in fire safetyCompany DescriptionCitrotech is a leader in wildfire defense technology, offering innovative solutions including home defense systems, mobile/ground application units, and fire inhibitor innovations.
