Principal Data Analyst, Business Banking Analytics
Johnston, Rhode Island
Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Principal Data Analyst, Business Banking Analytics
for its Johnston, Rhode Island location.
Duties: Owns the roadmap, build, enhancement and maintenance of strategic data products that drive business decision making. Owns multiple data products and works alongside others to conceptualize, design, and build strategic solutions and ensuring products meets approved architecture patterns and governance. Manages linkages with centralized assets and engineering teams, including Salesforce, Master Data Management, and other Internal Customer Databases. Responsible for supporting a wide range of data analysis functions, and performing adhoc analysis to support strategic business needs. Responsible for enabling hardened data for business banking that allows performing insightful analytics to be consumed by data scientists and other advanced analytics professionals.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Designing, testing, and deploying ETLs and performing root cause analyses and defect resolutions; Fine tuning long running ETL jobs and SQL queries; Building reusable ETL components and implementing push down optimization for performance enhancement; Implementing disaster recovery and data security policies, including data tokenization solutions for EDW Datawarehouses; Implementing platform migration projects and orchestration tool migration projects; Building Spark applications for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation with multiple file formats; Migrating data using Sqoop from HDFS to Relational Database System; Implementing Hadoop Eco-system components; Deploying encryption techniques, compression, and replication for data processing needs; and Analyzing and addressing ETL transformation performance issues.
