We are seeking a Director who has specific experience in FIG/mortgage finance space and would come in with established Corporate and Financial Sponsor relationships within the sector to help facilitate strategic dialogue with existing and new bank customers leading to fees in Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”), Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Global Markets (FX and hedging), and/or general advisory. You would serve as the primary architect of client discussions and presentations, bringing appropriate product partners into situations as needed. This is an attractive opportunity for a banker looking for more autonomy, career advancement, and to act as a key contributor within a newly formed group.
Primary Responsibilities Include
The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $275,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.

Primary Responsibilities Include
- Architect strategic ideas, research industry notes and trends to present to clients as well as internal risk management.
- Establish and cultivate long-term relationships at the C-suite level within FIG sector. Experience in Mortgage Finance, including relationships with mortgage originators, mortgage REITs, and mortgage services, is desirable.
- Collaborate on cross-sell efforts with Citizens Corporate Bankers into the FIG client base.
- Help prepare and present offering materials to potential investors, lenders, and rating agencies; negotiate critical structural elements on behalf of the client with investors and lenders.
- Attend industry related conventions and conferences, to establish new and build on existing relationships while identifying industry trends.
- Liaise with risk management to ensure that appropriate credit and market risks are identified and addressed.
- Maintain effective license to operate by sustaining a high level of trust and confidence with senior line and risk management.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Investment banking and/or Capital Markets with a top ranked investment bank, M&A boutique, or commercial bank
- Demonstrated, long-term client relationships in the Capital Markets FIG sector
- Proven experience working with Debt and Equity Capital Markets, and leading M&A mandates
- 4 year degree from an accredited university
- Master's degree preferred, but not required
- Series 79 & 63 licenses
- Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task
- Strong credit acumen with superior market risk knowledge
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
