Citizens Bank (“Citizens”) is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Asset-Backed Securitization (“ABS”) team in Stamford, CT. The Summer Analyst will support senior team members in all aspects of ABS advisory, credit analysis, credit underwriting, client marketing, and deal execution. The ABS business provides securitization lending and term ABS bond underwriting to companies for financing a wide variety of underlying assets.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a high performing, rapidly growing, and entrepreneurial team within one of the largest regional banks in the country. The Summer Analyst will develop direct working relationships with key stakeholders and leaders across Citizens’ commercial bank.

Job Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of ABS lending transaction origination, execution, and ongoing maintenance
- Support ABS business management and reporting
- Support the preparation of underwriting memos, transaction analysis and summaries
- Participate in transaction due diligence calls and meetings
- Perform market analysis and research as needed
- Work collaboratively with key internal constituents and external transaction participants in support of ABS initiatives, including Portfolio Management and Credit Risk Management.
- Monitor and research capital markets trends
- Maintain internal deal and market databases
- Contribute to business and client pitch & data management processes
- Successfully complete a video interview assessment within 7 days of receiving link. If not completed within the timeframe, your application will be automatically withdrawn from consideration.
- Current students enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program, graduating between Winter 2027 – Spring 2028 OR current students enrolled in a graduate program, graduating between Winter 2027 – Spring 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Please include your cumulative GPA on your resume.
- Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred but all majors will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills and software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency is required.
- Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.
