RN Supervisor
Tuesday-Saturday 12n-8:30p
Shoreham location
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing/Director of Nursing , the RN Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the ICF Nurses to ensure that all medical/nursing needs are being addressed
Requirements:
- College degree in nursing required
- Valid NYS Registered Professional Nursing License required
- One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
- Qualified NYS Driver's License and maintained throughout employment
- Previous experience supporting people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- On site supervision of the ICF staff nurses
- Be available as scheduled to nursing staff to assess medical problems and advise on appropriate action
- On Call Responsibilities include Telephone Triage and/or on site evaluation if deemed necessary
- Manage staff or the person’s health related problems in the absence of the Assistant Director/ Director of Nursing
- On- going monitoring of the person’s medical records to ensure compliance with the multitude of medical nursing ICF regulations. Progress to be discussed in Monthly meetings with Assistant Director/Director of Nursing. Any issues are brought to the Assistant Director/Director of Nursing’s immediate attention
- Ensure Nursing staff remain compliant with continuity of care and partake in audits of charts
