Citizens offers a variety of residential supports based upon the level of support and supervision required by each person to include Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA’s) and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF’s).
Qualifications:
- Must be a NYS licensed Registered Nurse
- BS degree preferred. Licensure includes CPR training, child abuse and administering medication procedures
- Six months of hospital experience and one year health care experience working with ID population preferred.
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensures the medical care of all people in the facility by providing direction to LPN and AMAP staff, completion of all regulatory reports and negotiating with outside agencies and acting as a liaison between hospitals, clinics, and consultants to ensure accurate coordination and delivery of services
