Description

GENERAL:
It is the responsibility of the Lender to work with and assist all customers with the lending process.
Furthermore this position has the following defined duties:
DUTIES:

1. Take loan applications and collect applicable supporting documentation
2. Establish and negotiate terms for proposed loans
3. Evaluate and underwrite loan requests
4. Work with customers to properly structure loans to meet the customer's needs while adhering to bank lending policy and regulation
5. Coordinate loan closing: Complete loan contracts by explaining documents to applicant; obtaining signatures and notarizations; and collecting closing fees
6. Deny loan requests to person and entities that do not meet the criteria established by bank lending policies
7. Educate customers about loans and lending processes, by answering questions and responding to customer requests
8. Collect delinquent loans and assist in determining the feasibility of taking legal action against delinquent accounts and related accounts
9. Attend all Supervisors meetings and training as required
10. Participate in community activities and bank promotions
11. Actively pursue lending opportunities within our market place
12. Cross sell bank products to new and existing customers
13. Loan Surveillance: Monitor and analyze existing lending relationships according to loan policy guidelines. Includes but is not limited to obtaining updated financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, etc
