Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide exceptional care for our residents in Community Springs Long Term Care Center located in El Dorado Springs, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the area: El Dorado Springs is a progressive, full-service city in Southwest Missouri, known for its rich history and family-friendly atmosphere. It's the largest city in Cedar County and was incorporated in 1881, centered around a spring believed to have healing properties. The city's location between Kansas City, Springfield, and Joplin provides easy access to various amenities, including the Wayside Inn Museum, the Opera House Cinema, and El Dorado Springs City Park.
About the department: Community Springs Long Term Care is a 105-bed long term care skilled nursing facility providing transitional or long-term care. A 15-bed high functioning memory care unit provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s or other memory issues.
A typical day includes: A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.
- Prepares residents for meals, serves, and collects food trays and nourishment, and document intakes.
- Bathes, dresses, and assists resident with personal hygiene including oral hygiene, peri-care, nail care, and hair care along with any other activity of daily living needed.
- Completes range of motion, positions, and pads residents for proper alignment, comfort, and relief of pressure.
Job Requirements:
- Education: HS diploma
- Experience: None! We provide on-the-job training and assist with obtaining your Certified Nurse Assistant Certification.
- Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.
The position is Full Time, Nights.
