About the facility: Ash Grove Healthcare Facility is an 82-bed long-term care, skilled nursing facility. Services include a 20-bed memory care unit to meet the needs of individuals with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.
A typical day includes:
- Preparing residents for meals, serving, and collecting food trays and nourishments, and documenting intakes
- Handling and caring for resident clothing and personal property, protecting from damage and assuring proper storage
- Making rounds to assigned resident, accommodating resident needs
- Ensuring safe, appropriate nursing care is administered and problems reported to the charge nurse for follow-up action

- Licensure/Certification: Currently certified or agrees to enroll, attend, and pass C.NA course within 4 months of employment, BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR within 6 months of employment
- Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the day and sit for the remaining 10%
