Position Information: Under the leadership of the Department Manager, the Advanced Practice Provider for Orthopedic Services plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a critical access hospital setting. This position involves working collaboratively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in the orthopedic clinic.
Provider will report to the Orthopedic Clinic Manager.
Days/Hours: 8AM to 5PM, 4 days per week
Pay Range: Dependent upon licensure and experience.
What you’ll do:
The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for Outpatient Services plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a critical access hospital setting. This position involves working collaboratively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in the orthopedic clinic. The APP focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of medical conditions, with an emphasis on continuity of care, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What you bring to the table:
Education:
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited program.
- Physician Assistant: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
- National certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA) required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.
Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic settings preferred.
- New graduates with relevant clinical rotations or internships will be considered
