WE’RE HIRING! Preschool Teachers
Help support the growth and development of young children in a
nurturing early education environment.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4 PM, 35 Hours Per Week, Minimum 43 Weeks Per Year
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates enthusiasm in work with children and team members
- Actively lead and participate in Team Meetings
- Ensures implementation of curriculum and strong child guidance practices
- Screen, evaluate, and assess children to determine needs and individualized programming
- Develops intentional lesson plans & caregiving schedules in partnership with the team
- Conduct observations throughout classroom routines
- Support appropriate referrals for families and follow up on outcomes with Family Service team
- Ensure implementation of Head Start policies and procedures and EEC Licensing requirements
- Actively promotes, supports and encourages Family Engagement and for Families to engage in their child’s development
- Implement plans to maintain attendance compliance and awareness
- Maintain clear and consistent communication and documentation
- Facilitate Parent-Teacher Conferences, Home Visits, and Team Meetings
Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field
✔ Lead Teacher Certification through EEC
✔ Experience working with preschool-age children

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and stretch throughout the day
- Ability to react and move quickly when supervising children
- Adequate vision and hearing to perform job duties
- Ability to drive/operate a motor vehicle
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Health Requirements
- Physical exam every 2 years
- Physician’s certificate required
- Proof of TB test within the prior year for new employees
- Annual TB assessment required
