Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor to support the Banks’ centralized loan functions by preparing and processing loan documentation for various types of loans. The Loan Processor develops and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Bank policies and procedures and maintains proficient understanding of state and federal regulatory compliance as it pertains to loan documentation, loan servicing, the Bank’s core system functions, and all other outlined responsibilities and duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Prepare and understand various types of loan documents required for new loans, renewals, and extensions in a timely manner with accuracy.
• Coordinate, track, and obtain required due diligence items, including appraisals, title work, credit reports, flood determinations, and Certificates of Good Standing.
• Perform various lien perfection duties such as processing new title liens, recording new mortgages, and preparing and submitting the release of mortgage and title liens.
• Responsible for originating and managing tickler reporting.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reports and proactively manage loan closing timelines.
• Review files after closing ensuring all documents are properly executed and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate and efficient funding and input of loan information for system processing.
• Monitor loan files for completeness.
• Promote and provide excellent customer service by effectively communication and cooperating with internal and external customers in a positive and professional matter.
• Foster professional relationships and communicate effectively with attorneys, title companies, appraisers, insurance agents, and other third-party providers.
• Assist manager with special projects as assigned.

Required Skills

• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail under time constraints in an effective and efficient manner; and prioritize work assignments.
• Demonstrate ongoing self-development and participation in formal training per essential expectation of this role.
• Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
