Description
The Regional IT Support Technician is responsible for the support of citizenM IT technology used within operational citizenM hotels in the US, citizenM hotels under construction, and the support office. They take ownership of the assigned properties with regard to the quality, state, and security of all IT equipment within the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Remote and on-site support of technical issues in hotels and offices
- Management and coordination of external IT staff in the US region
- On-site support and delivery of IT system installations during the hotel development stage
- Apply and maintain security standards in the hotels
- Understand, own, and keep up to date the property-specific documentation to provide proper support for the key systems within the assigned properties
- Work with the EU IT team on projects and new system rollouts to ensure regional requirements are met and compatible
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Previous experience with hotel systems and time spent in hotel IT support is beneficial, but not required. A well-rounded understanding and working knowledge of hotel operations and experience of the standard systems employed by hotel chains.
