SUMMARY
This position is a leadership position overseeing either multiple Districts or a greater number of stores with high volume and high profile for the organization. This position is responsible for leading the achievement of financial targets, developing strategies for revenue and store growth, building highly motivated teams to drive a selling culture. Reporting to the SVP of Retail the Regional Manager will lead a designated retail district demonstrating inspirational leadership in managing a variety of stores across different models and geographies. The Regional Manager, in accordance with company, state, local and federal laws will lead by example to be the company and brands champion to deliver superior customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Take a pro-active approach to analyzing business and driving results within company and direct report stores.
- Support field management to convey company goals and strategies.
- Ability to multitask responsibly and effectively to achieve the company’s financial goals. (sales, payroll, profitability, alongside of all KPI’s.)
- Leverages a deep wealth of retail knowledge to solve problems and remove obstacles for their team, regardless of operational challenges or circumstances beyond their control.
- Ability to shift gears to respond to sudden changes or demands from corporate and teach their team how to pivot effectively, staying flexible to the ever-evolving retail climate.
- Keep the customer at the core when building strategy and solutions to accomplish the desired experience.
- Model exemplary leadership and motivational skills alongside selling techniques and customer service.
- Oversee that all product presentation is maintained to company standards and train on merchandising while visiting each store location.
- Perform thorough and effective store visits leading to action plans resulting in overall store improvement in the area of visual merchandising, human resources, administrative organization, repair and maintenance, loss prevention, training and development.
- Develop local outreach to network within the community to develop customer base to increase sales.
- Partner with marketing and advertising department to support their initiatives to build customer awareness to increase traffic and sales through communication of marketing strategies.
- Partner with marketing and advertising to develop and execute in-store events to build customer base, increase sales and brand awareness.
- Develop cross marketing program to build customer base and increase traffic resulting in increased sales.
- Maintain store safety and abide by local, state, and government regulations.
- Ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed promptly and accurately.
- Identify and discuss operational issues and concerns with corporate.
- Achieve store inventory shrinkage budgets and manage effective inventory controls throughout the year.
- Available to travel weekly or as needed.
- Remain available to cover store coverage in absence of management.
- Bring a business perspective to people management and focus development on the types of outcomes associated with specific functions in stores.
- Build brand experience and delivery company values and expectations while leading your team by supporting the recruiting, onboarding, and coaching by setting the example of always keeping the customer experience the number one objective.
- Schedules consistent touch bases, communication and quality visits to locations to develop the talent and capabilities of their teams.
- Create and monitor weekly schedule maximizing talent, payroll for area and home store coverage.
- Ensure that management and associates are trained in all aspects of their job responsibilities including customer service, clientele, company history, product knowledge, visual merchandising, and basic store operations.
- Ensures their team is proactively building their sales and conversion by localizing and tailoring their assortment and merchandising to their customers’ wants and needs.
- Always insists on recruiting and hiring top talent and consistently engaging their network for referrals.
- Develops, coaches, and mentors their Store Managers and Store Teams to meet their full potential and run successful stores. Focuses on succession planning and ensures constructive and clear performance coaching to help our team meet challenges and improve as needed.
- Motivate team to encourage positive work environment fostering friendly and service-oriented atmosphere.
- Establish performance goals to increase overall store performance, develop an action plan to correct negative trends or performance opportunities.
- Oversee that management and sales associates are developing and maintaining long-term clients through the effective use of customer service, client books, store and community events.
- Gathers knowledge and best practices for the organization, providing applicable feedback to inform of improvements.
- Participates in all aspects of new store opening operations, including recruiting and training store associates, co-coordinating store opening logistics, and working with retail corporate team to ensure store is fully operational for an on-time store opening.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Possess high level of Microsoft office, power point, excel, word, and social networking platforms.
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of multi-unit or high volume store management experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May frequently involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, going up and down staircases and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
