What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Associate Director of HRIS position at Citizen Advocates, Inc.?
The Network AD-HRIS partners with stakeholders in the organization to analyze HR work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities.
The Network AD-HRIS will build project plans, ensure adherence to project schedules, maintain a systems thinking approach and works effectively to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as the subject matter expert to ensure data integrity, testing and enhancing system changes, report writing, and audits.
Essential Functions (Job Duties):
- Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
- Consistently prioritizes and recommends functionality and systems improvements.
- Maximizes the functionality of Paycom and Fresh Service to enhance and streamline operations.
- Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Assesses work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
- Meets with business partners to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
- Prepares manuals and educates staff in use of new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment, according to organizational policy.
- Creates and maintains efficient and effective file storage systems and instructs staff on file maintenance.
- Designs, evaluates, recommends, and approves changes of forms and reports. Meets with leadership and end users regarding problems and improvements to forms and reports.
- Audit records management programs for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program.
- Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. Uses data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
- Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRIS system tables. Documents process and results.
- Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques. Through classes, reading, computer-based trainings or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
- Plans, conducts and completes record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, personnel file audits and other compliance reviews, and prepares information requests for operations/shared services.
- Ensures that all employee titles, departments, and other information gathered through the onboarding process is up to date in Paycom and Microsoft applications and instructs staff in how to maintain up to date systems.
- Scopes new HRIS platforms and enhancements to advise leadership regarding the risks/rewards and cost.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
HRIS Analyst reports to the Network AD of HRIS
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, human resources or related field or equivalent work experience. Master's degree in human resource management, computer science or related degree preferred.
- Three (3) years related experience in HRIS preferred. Analytical experience to be considered.
