Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to lead our field crews and oversee daily project execution. This role is responsible for managing job sites, ensuring quality workmanship, coordinating team members, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on landscaping experience and the ability to keep projects on schedule and up to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape crews on residential and commercial projects
- Plan, organize, and execute daily job site activities
- Ensure all work meets Citiscapes’ quality and safety standards
- Train, mentor, and motivate crew members
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries for each project
- Oversee installation of landscaping elements, including planting, grading, irrigation, and hardscape features
- Perform and supervise irrigation installation and repairs
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding progress and challenges
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe
- Maintain project timelines and meet deadlines
Requirements
- 2 years of landscaping experience (foreman or leadership experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation techniques and materials
- Experience with irrigation systems (installation and repair)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive trucks and trailers (experience with F-550 preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
