We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Floor Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial floors using professional cleaning equipment and techniques. This position may require daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts, depending on client needs and work schedules.
Responsibilities
- Clean, maintain, and restore a variety of floor surfaces, including tile, vinyl, concrete, hardwood, and carpet.
- Operate commercial floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, carpet extractors, and wet/dry vacuums.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust mop, and spot clean floors and surrounding areas.
- Strip, wax, seal, and polish floors as required.
- Perform carpet cleaning using extraction and encapsulation methods.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals according to company policies.
- Empty trash and perform additional janitorial duties as assigned.
- Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any issues at job sites.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial floor care experience preferred.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate commercial floor cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
