ETL Developer (BODS)

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Business Objects Data Services (BODS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and database technologies, along with the ability to work independently with business stakeholders and technical teams.

 

 

• Lead end-to-end ETL development using BODS

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines

• Analyze and enhance existing ETL processes for performance and scalability

• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and data issues

• Work extensively with Oracle and SQL Server for querying and performance tuning

• Develop and maintain Unix/Shell scripts for automation

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards

• Design and implement data models and transformation logic

• Coordinate with data warehouse and downstream teams

• Document ETL processes, designs, and technical specifications

• Provide ongoing support and enhancements

• Act as ETL Lead / Scrum Master in Agile environments

 

• Strong hands-on experience with Business Objects Data Services (BODS)

• Expertise in ETL architecture, design, and development

• Strong SQL skills with Oracle and SQL Server

• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing & Data Modeling

• Experience in data integration, migration, and transformation

• Hands-on experience with Unix / Shell scripting

• Knowledge of data quality, validation, and governance

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

 

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and in team environments

• Experience in data profiling and governance practices
