Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday | 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Position Summary

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support overnight security operations at an assigned client location in Fort Collins. This position focuses on maintaining a secure environment through routine patrols, active observation, and timely response to security concerns.

The ideal candidate is alert, dependable, and comfortable making sound decisions in changing situations while maintaining a professional presence. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled foot and vehicle patrols throughout the assigned property.
• Help maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and client assets.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or unauthorized access.
• Respond appropriately to incidents while following established site procedures.
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the shift.
• Communicate important information to supervisors and client representatives as needed.
• Inspect buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations during patrols.
• Follow all post orders, company policies, and client-specific security procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service while interacting with employees and authorized visitors.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to make sound decisions during unexpected situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in private security, public safety, military, or a related field.
• Experience performing patrols and writing security reports.
• Familiarity with electronic reporting platforms and mobile security applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  
  

Work Environment

• Overnight schedule requires continuous awareness and attention.
• Combination of indoor and outdoor patrols in varying weather conditions.
• Regular walking, standing, and vehicle patrol throughout the shift.
• Frequent interaction with client personnel, visitors, and emergency responders when necessary.
