Collections Specialist

Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for an AR/Collections Specialist to join our growing Team. This is a high volume and fast paced position so the ideal candidate must work well in this type of environment. Important qualifications for this position is skilled multi-tasker, is proficient in Excel, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. This position is based in Vacaville, CA  

Position responsibilities: 

• Composes emails and makes collections calls to customers 

• Develops and maintains relationships with customers 

• Reconciles customer payments (checks, credit card, electronic)  

• Researches and solves payment discrepancies by investigating information from various departments 

• Makes adjustments to customer accounts as needed 

• Building and keeping files organized 

• Completing task as needed in a timely manner 

• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs 

Requirements: 

• Experience with high volume collections 

• 2-3 years’ experience as a collector 

• Must have experience in accounts receivable or collections 

• Previous experience in construction and/or new home building is a plus 

• High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred 

• Must have strong work ethics 

• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable 

• Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch,  

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills 

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness 

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
