Compliance Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Analyst to join our Surplus Lines Department at Citadel Insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing and submitting premium tax reports to state insurance departments.
- Reviewing premium contracts to identify potential compliance issues.
- Communicating with internal teams, agents, and state agencies to resolve compliance-related queries.
- Developing and implementing effective compliance strategies.
- Providing guidance on ad-hoc compliance matters.
- Managing tax payments and ensuring timely payment to state insurance departments.
- Supporting other accounting and compliance tasks as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven track record of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:
