ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR
Citadel Healthcare is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team in the Kankakee / Bourbonnais area. This position will work closely with the Director of Admissions and will physically work in both facilities.
This position will need to have excellent written and oral communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities :
- Responsible for creating resident medical records in PointClickCare.
- Complete background checks for residents in accordance with State and Federal Regulations.
- Responsible for communicating room readiness to housekeeping and maintenance.
- Creates name tags and welcome packets for resident rooms and deliver Admission Notification to floor nurse.
- Greets residents upon admission. For after hour admits, the assistant must notify reception and IDT in advance to ensure a smooth transition for the resident and residents' family.
- Securing new customers through the facility tour process.
- Responsible for managing all swim lanes witin the RESIDE software for Kankakee and Bourbonnais; including reviewing and editing of demographic and payer information to ensure the contract reflects accurate information.
- Work with residents and families to complete resident agreements via RESIDE within 72 hours of admission.
- Perform miscellaneous concierge duties for Kankakee and Boubonnais.
