Employment Type: Full-Time-40hrs-45hrs / week – Hybrid

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development / Proposal Manager to lead our pursuit and proposal efforts across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities and markets, Building strategic relationships, managing the end-to-end proposal process, and developing compelling, client-focused submissions that position the firm for success. The ideal candidate combines strong writing and coordination skills with a strategic mindset, and works closely with technical teams and leadership to drive growth and win new business.

 Key Responsibilities 

Business Development:

·      Identify and pursue new project opportunities across target markets

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders

·      Support go/no-go decisions and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline

·      Conduct market research and track industry trends and competitors

·      Represent the firm at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions

Proposal Management:

·      Lead the end-to-end proposal process for RFQs, RFPs, and prequalification submissions

·      Develop pursuit strategies, win themes, and compelling proposal content

·      Coordinate with technical teams to gather accurate and relevant information

·      Ensure compliance with client requirements and manage submission deadlines

·      Maintain and update proposal materials, templates, and marketing content

·      Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, reviews, and post-submission debriefs

Qualifications & Skills

·      Minimum 5-10 years of combined experience as a Business Development/  Proposal Manager preferably in the AEC industry (architecture, engineering, or construction firms required). 

·      Degree in Marketing, Architecture, Engineering or related field

·      Proven track record of winning medium-to-large scale projects

·      Experience with public sector (government bids)

·      Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills

·      Deep understanding of RFQ/RFP processes and compliance requirements

·      Project management and multitasking under tight deadlines

·      Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

·      Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset

·      Familiarity with CRM systems and Adobe InDesign
