Job Description
The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience working with Snowflake, SQL, and Python, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative client environment.
This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for qualified consultants who are available to start quickly and can commit to the required travel schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
- Develop Python-based solutions for data processing, automation, integration, and engineering workflows.
- Troubleshoot data, pipeline, SQL, and application-related issues.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, architects, business stakeholders, and client teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development and documentation standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, processes, and solutions.
- Support testing, deployment, production releases, and post-production troubleshooting.
- Identify opportunities to improve data engineering processes, automation, performance, and reliability.
Required Technical Skills
Snowflake
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Experience with Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, and data loading.
- Understanding of Snowflake architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience with data transformation and ELT processes in Snowflake.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Snowflake workloads.
SQL
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience writing complex queries involving joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and analytical functions.
- Experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Ability to work with large-volume datasets.
Python
- Strong programming experience with Python.
- Experience developing scripts and applications for data processing and automation.
- Familiarity with Python libraries commonly used in data engineering.
- Experience integrating Python with databases and data platforms.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
