Senior Camstar / Siemens Opcenter MES Developer
Location: Raritan, NJ
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Camstar / Siemens Opcenter MES Developer with strong experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), particularly Siemens Camstar / Opcenter Core. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting MES solutions for manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing and delivering large, global MES programs, preferably within Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing domains.
Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Experience managing programs for Manufacturing domains in MES.
- Preferred experience with Siemens Camstar / Siemens Opcenter Core platform.
- Hands-on experience with complete lifecycle implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Core / Camstar Designer.
- Hands-on experience with Camstar Portal development.
- Good understanding of COA / CIO / MIO interface connectivity.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes.
- Experience working on large, global projects with responsibility for overall quality of delivery.
- Complete lifecycle implementation of MES using a COTS MES product such as Camstar Enterprise Platform.
- Experience with Camstar upgrades.
- Experience leading requirements definition and MES implementation of the Factory Model.
- Strong domain experience in Medical Devices and/or Pharma Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of interfaces between Camstar MES and external applications, including:
- ERP
- LIMS
- Equipment
- HMI
- Other manufacturing systems
- Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) and manufacturing validation processes.
- Strong SQL skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, code, and develop CIO / MIO maps and workflows in Siemens Opcenter Core / Camstar.
- Perform development and configuration activities within the Camstar / Opcenter MES platform.
- Understand business and user requirements and translate them into effective MES solutions.
- Support the complete site implementation of Camstar MES.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tickets/incidents received from customers as part of the support team.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Camstar MES with ERP, LIMS, equipment, HMI, and other external applications.
- Coordinate and distribute work among team members.
- Ensure overall quality and timely delivery of assigned project activities.
- Support MES upgrades, enhancements, and implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate with global project teams and manufacturing stakeholders.
