Required Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical & Technical Skills: Experience with hand and power tools, ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics, and experience in furniture assembly and instillation.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 75lbs, capable of pushing and moving heavy furniture and equipment safely.
Driver's License: Valid license and reliable transportation to our warehouse in Monroeville or jobsites around the Pittsburgh area
Soft Skills: Demonstrate a professional appearance, positive attitude, team player. Also important to be customer oriented, have strong communication and be detail oriented.
Experience: Background in furniture installation, carpentry, or construction (Not required, Entry level requires no experience, we will train you!)
What You’ll Do:
Furniture Installers work on-site at client locations, which may include offices, homes, or commercial spaces occasionally at our warehouse in Monroeville. Load and unload furniture from trucks. Staging materials near installation areas as well as the following:
- Assemble and install modular office furniture and wall systems
- Read and follow installation plans or blueprints
- Make adjustments to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Perform minor repairs or modifications when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, while working closely with team members, supervisors and clients to complete projects on time.
Compensation:
- Entry-Level: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
- Experienced Installers: Based on experience
