Position Summary
We are seeking an analyst to join our team who loves numbers and understands the inherent importance of organizing and utilizing data to assist in tactical and strategic business-making decisions. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the commercial and financial business elements known as Price and Volume variance drivers and Material, Labor and Overhead Cost and Margin and a clear knowledge on how these elements relate to each other. The candidate should be very comfortable and familiar with Microsoft excel with a minimum 5 years of direct hands-on modeling experience. They will work directly with the VP, Commercial Finance and others in the creation and maintenance of cutting-edge financial information to be used in current and new operational and commercial processes such as pricing, quoting, inflation recovery, segmentation and other areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models in Microsoft excel and other programs to forecast future performance, assess potential risks and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure that data being presented has been triangulated with other financial data / information and reviewed prior to presenting.
- Work with VP, Commercial Finance through current developed models to fully understand build and functionality.
- Improve current models as needed/required to align with changing business requirements
- Manage & maintain commercial data sets in the BI system such as global customers, global parts and others.
- Work with key stakeholders in finance, operations and business development as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field / equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Thorough understanding of commercial finance elements.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Supply Chain and/or Operational/Manufacturing experience and acumen a plus

Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
