Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and preparing financial data, helping in the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and related depreciation.
- Book all journal entries related to fixed assets, including depreciation, disposals, and capitalization of new assets.
- Handle all capital requests with all respective Cirtec sites.
- Handle all fixed asset requests for our annual audits and tax provision preparation.
- Maintain all leases and book all journal entries related to ASC 842 lease accounting.
- Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries and reconciliations as required.
- Administer the monthly operations and monthly close process on our Company wide close checklist.
- Ensure all close-related tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with the month end closing, reporting analysis & audit support.
- Assist with the 401k and workers comp audits.
- Cross train other team members on different tasks to provide backup assistance during absences.
- Provide mentorship for other team members.
- Assist Corp. Accounting Manager, Corp. Controller, and CFO with ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Must Have:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years business experience in accounting, public accounting preferred
- Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information in an appropriate manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Accounting skills, at a minimum
- ERP experience required
- Advanced excel skills required for complex data management
Good to have:
- Experience overseeing fixed assets preferred
Competitive market salary from $60000 to 78000 depending on qualifications and experience.
