Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer / Lead with deep expertise in Amazon Bedrock to lead the development of scalable, production-grade AI/ML applications leveraging foundation models and generative AI. This role requires hands-on experience in prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and deploying AI solutions using AWS-native services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML applications using Amazon Bedrock and foundation models (e.g., Claude, Titan, Jurassic, Mistral).
- Develop and optimize prompts and fine-tune models for specific business use cases.
- Integrate Bedrock with custom applications, APIs, and analytics layers for real-time and batch use cases.
- Provide post-implementation support, bug fixing, and continuous improvement at the application layer.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical strategies and deliver AI-powered business solutions.
- Build or support analytics dashboards and reporting pipelines where necessary.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural decisions related to GenAI implementation on AWS.
Core Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Amazon Bedrock and working with multiple foundation models (e.g., Claude, Titan, Llama2 via Bedrock).
- Strong Python development skills, particularly for AI/ML applications.
- Experience in Prompt Engineering, model configuration, and tuning for Bedrock-supported models.
- Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SageMaker, and IAM.
- Strong debugging, post-production support, and performance tuning abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis; experience with Tableau or similar tools is a plus.
- (Optional) API integration and orchestration experience using serverless or containerized environments.
Leadership Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience leading AI/ML or GenAI projects
- Strong technical decision-making and solution architecture experience
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Solutions Architect)
- Familiarity with MLOps practices on AWS or hybrid environments
- Experience in deploying GenAI use cases in industries such as healthcare, finance, or retail
