Duties
- Work on new product introductions of high performance mixed-signal audio integrated circuit products while driving yield improvement, cost reduction and quality improvement; prototype sample generation, yield enhancement, characterization, qualification, test development, cost reduction, customer returns, and release to test contractors; create test software programs and design test hardware for a variety of Automated Test Equipment platforms; coordinate with other integrated circuit product functions across the company.
- Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus five years of experience. In all cases, experience must include: three years of experience as a product engineer in the semiconductor industry; and three years of experience with volume data analysis. All experience may be gained concurrently. In addition, the position requires: knowledge of semiconductor reliability testing sufficient to drive resolution of qualification failures; and knowledge of and proficiency with mixed-signal integrated circuit debugging sufficient to analyze and highlight quality concerns.
