Server/Waiter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for serving customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, working banquets, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items to enhance guest relations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively upsell and increase sales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a server is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to serving duties.
