We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest services throughout the dining experience.
Experience
- Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality standards is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable.
- Background in hotel or guest services can be beneficial.
