Supply Chain Logistics Manager

What is this role? 

The Supply Chain Logistics Manager will support our global supply chain and logistics teams with scheduling, documentation, and coordinating vendors to ensure on time and in full deliveries.  This role is a key player in ensuring our business processes affecting the entire supply chain from purchasing to customer delivery are efficient and flexible. As Cirkul continues to grow at a rapid pace the planning and execution of efficient supply chain strategies is crucial to maintaining market leadership and customer satisfaction.

What does an average day look like? 

• Driving Results: Support our supply chain, operations and manufacturing teams to help coordinate on time and accurate transportation of inventory domestically internally and externally. Successfully organize and document logistics related paperwork with a eye for detail and accuracy
• Taking Ownership: Source multiple quotes from vendors to ensure optimal pricing. Getting ahead with planning and executing on numerous simultaneous operations. Keeping key internal stakeholders updated on material movement.
• Making Decisions: Develop an in-depth understanding of our supply chain to develop cost, quality and lead time improvements in our logistics operation.
• Cultivating Relationships: Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information and documentation.
• Instilling Trust: Developing a track record of consistency, predictability and agility to overcome logistics related challenges.
• Customer Focus: Coordinating vendors to ensure on time and in full deliveries to keep all linked processes in production.

What background should you have? 

• 2-6 years of experience in supply chain or logistics
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and within small teams
• Ability to be successful in a fast paced environment
• A team player with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Superb project management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with GSuite and Microsoft
• Knowledge of food supply chain, or working experience in manufacturing field is a plus
