  • Maintain accurate circuit inventories, power audits, cross-connect records, and labeling standards.
  • Create and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs).

Incident Response & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to alarms, outages, and faults across CLS, NAP, and assigned sites.
  • Troubleshoot optical, electrical, environmental, and facility-related issues.
  • Participate in post-incident analysis and corrective actions.

Vendor & Access Management

  • Coordinate contractor access, Badges/LOAs, escorts, and onsite safety oversight.
  • Validate scope-of-work execution and oversee contractor performance.

Inventory, RMA & Procurement Coordination

  • Track inventories, spares, equipment lifecycle, RMAs, and receipts.
  • Coordinate procurement activities using SAP and internal purchasing processes.

Safety, Compliance & Emergency Readiness

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, Equinix IBX requirements, and Uptime Institute guidelines.
  • Apply lockout/tagout procedures, PPE standards, and safety best practices.
  • Support hurricane preparedness and emergency readiness including staging, spares, access, and fuel logistics.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on knowledge of optical transport systems and subsea terminal equipment.
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC power systems, HVAC, generators, ATS, structured cabling, and facilities operations.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with subsea cable systems or landing station operations.
  • Knowledge of cross-connect provisioning and contractor management.
  • Experience with SAP, ticketing systems, inventory tools, and MOP creation.
  • Background in safety programs, emergency operations, or disaster preparedness.
