About the Opportunity

Cirilla's is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on retail leader to join our organization as an Area General Manager In-Training (AGM In-Training), with opportunities across Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio.

This leadership development opportunity is designed for a results-driven retail professional ready to advance into multi-unit retail leadership. The AGM In-Training will work alongside experienced field leadership and Store Managers to develop skills in sales growth, financial performance, talent development, operational excellence, and customer experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position focused on coaching teams, driving results, and leading by example.

MANDATORY RELOCATION REQUIREMENT: All candidates must be 100% willing and able to relocate within 3–6 months based on company business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Performance & Financial Results

• Drive sales growth and profitability across assigned retail locations.
• Coach Store Managers on average ticket, units per transaction, active selling, and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, labor, operating profit, shrink, and staffing performance.
• Identify business opportunities and develop action plans.
• Support promotional initiatives and company sales programs.

Leadership & Team Development

• Develop multi-unit leadership skills alongside experienced Area General Managers.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and Sales Associates.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training.
• Evaluate performance and assist with employee development plans.
• Build accountable teams and support succession planning.

Store Operations & Execution

• Work directly in assigned retail locations.
• Execute Cirilla's operational policies and standards.
• Maintain merchandising, cleanliness, inventory, and customer-service standards.
• Support scheduling, labor management, and store profitability.
• Resolve escalated customer and operational concerns.
• Develop the ability to independently manage multiple locations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven retail management experience driving sales and developing teams.
• Store Manager, District Manager, Area Manager, or comparable leadership experience.
• Multi-unit retail leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Strong sales coaching and customer engagement skills.
• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and retail operations.
• Strong financial, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, positive leadership style.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
• Ability to relocate within 3–6 months based on company needs.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Schedule, Travel & Relocation

• Full-time, salaried position.
• Opportunities across Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio.
• Approximately 75% travel between assigned retail locations.
• Some evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Flexibility to provide additional store leadership when necessary.
• 100% relocation flexibility required within 3–6 months based on company needs.
