Duties

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met
• Support catering and banquet setups by preparing food items and organizing serving stations
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including counters, utensils, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Buss tables efficiently during service hours to ensure a clean dining environment for guests
• Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
• Support cooking activities under supervision, including assembling dishes or assisting with basic cooking tasks
• Contribute to the overall food service operation by restocking supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items
• Assist with cleaning duties such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
• Support hotel or restaurant events by preparing ingredients or assisting with special catering requests

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
• Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude towards guest service
• Basic knowledge of food handling regulations and proper hygiene practices
• Experience with bussing tables or supporting banquet events is a plus
• Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food service operations

Pay: $20.72 - $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
