Role Description
This is a per diem, on-site role in Myrtle Beach, SC, for an Apheresis Nurse. Responsibilities include performing Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) procedures, monitoring patient health during treatments, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their care. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate patient records, preparing medical equipment for procedures, adhering to clinical guidelines, and collaborating with the medical team to deliver exceptional treatment experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) procedures and patient care.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain precise patient records and follow clinical protocols.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience working in high-quality care environments; ability to adapt to dynamic clinical settings.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN licensure in the state of South Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Prior experience with apheresis is required. Spectra Optia preferred.
