CIRCULAR LIBRARY is seeking a sales associate who can help our store that is redefining fashion by combining style with environmental responsibility.
Position Overview:
As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our growing number of sustainable fashion brands and engaging with customers to foster a positive shopping experience. You will be the face of our brand, representing our commitment to ethical practices, environmentally conscious fashion choices, and our dedication to upcycling.
Responsibilities:
- Educate customers about our brands and their commitment to sustainability, the eco-friendly aspects of our products, and innovative upcycling initiatives.
- Stay informed about current fashion trends, sustainability practices, and the environmental impact of various materials.
- Actively promote and coordinate our upcycling workshops, encouraging community participation and showcasing the transformative power of sustainable practices.
- Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining an organized retail space.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Passion for sustainable fashion and a strong commitment to eco-friendly practices.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of sustainability and fashion trends.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with the Venice, CA community and its unique culture is a plus.
