An innovative Los Angeles-based technology company is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead the development electronics and embedded systems for advanced communications and medical products.
We are seeking a highly technical individual with an EE background.
This is hands-on, high-impact position, you'll be driving products from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working closely with contract manufacturers to ensure smooth design transfer and successful launches.
What you'll do:
• Lead electronics & embedded system architecture, design, testing, and validation
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware
• Support manufacturing builds and troubleshoot design/field issues
• Contribute to proposals, technical documentation, and design history files (ISO 13485)
Required experience:
• 7 years in hardware embedded systems
• Hands-on with Altium (or similar), FPGAs/CPLDs, microprocessors
• Solid analog/digital design & debugging skills
• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in high-speed video/audio/data transmission is preferred
• Prior ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated experience is also a big plus
Salary Range: 140k–$170k, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits!
