Principal Activities
- Review supplier software to ensure material conformance to purchase order, contracts and material specifications.
- Perform QA of part orders. Review contract requirements and prepare required data packages.
- Maintain and update supplier database. Assure supplier software for incoming material is uploaded in Central Apps in a timely manner.
- Maintain upkeep of OQE records and documents of projects as required by Naval Customer orders.
- Reads and interprets customer drawings and contracts, written work instructions, routes, bills of material, work sampling plans and process and material specifications.
- Works with computers (ERP systems)
- Prepare pump kits and assembly packages prior to assembly and test.
- Performs internal audits at required intervals.
- Participates in the implementation and utilization of the CBS tools as necessary for continuous improvement of processes.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Military Contracts.
- Familiar with ASTM and Military specifications, DFARS
- Experience with Material Document Review.
- Experience with CMM and NDT is a plus.
- ERP knowledge is required. IFS would be a plus.
- Must be detail oriented, skilled at problem solving, be assertive, diligent, and have ability to multitask.
- Must be organized, work independently, and have good time management skills, with ability to prioritize work.
- Must have excellent communication skills and display the ability for sound decision making.
- Must be a team player, set agendas and stick to task and plan.
Education & Experience
- High School student or graduate or preferably a candidate with an Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year College or technical school. One to three years related experience
