To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Director, Corporate Development, ideally located in or near Boston, MA (though strong hybrid candidates will be considered). In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Analysis & Deal Modeling
- Manage CIRCOR valuation deal model and forecasts to assess viability of potential transactions
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data
- Due Diligence Processes
- Manage deal due diligence team activities
- Collaborate and influence cross functional team activities
- Prepare, document and communicate project progress, risks & issues
- Lead coordination with vendors, legal teams, and financial advisors, ensuring deliverables align with project goals.
- Assist with financial due diligence and valuations in support of deal completion
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the M&A process and strategic project management
- Integration Processes
- Shape the CIRCOR integration playbook, with best-of-class integration methodology to help lead integration plan execution.
- Execute the integration program and work closely with CIRCOR Business Leaders, Acquired Entity’s Leadership, Corporate Development and CIRCOR functional leads.
- Closely monitor adherence to integration plans and periodically (weekly / bi-weekly) report status of integration activities.
- Establish the effective governance and reporting cadence to review and update the integration progress
- Ensure that effective communication and change management to be deployed and the integration execution stays on track and deadlines are achieved, including critical milestones that belong to other functions that do not report to them.
- Market Research
- Research potential targets, competitors, and growth opportunities to help build M&A deal funnel. This may include attending trade shows and conducting voice of customer research
- Other
- Support investor and Board of Directors reporting requirements
- Assist with ad-hoc needs and long-term strategic initiatives
Job Requirements:
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 7 years progressive experience with strong M&A, Corporate Development, Management Consulting, Investment Banking and/or Capital Markets background
- Strong financial modeling experience
- Provide ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to communicate effectively with target companies, executive management and the CIRCOR Board of Directors
- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in additional languages a plus
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%
