Role and Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed production plans aligned with program and delivery schedules
Coordinate capacity planning and load balancing to optimize production flow and minimize bottlenecks
Devise and augment spreadsheets to enhance planning’s ability to proactively communicate information with a sense of urgency
Responsible for scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production facility
Ensure timely availability of materials, by working closely with procurement, stockroom, and production teams
Monitor and resolve material shortages, lead time issues, and capacity constraints
Create, release, and maintain work orders with accurate routings, BOMS, and due dates
Track work order progress and investigate discrepancies
Ensure timely and accurate closure of work orders, verifying that all labor and material requirements are complete
Participate in program meetings and provide planning input to support new product introductions, engineering changes, or rework plans
Support and promote Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning accuracy, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
Proactively identify schedule risks and develop recovery plans to mitigate delays and support on-time delivery
Escalate critical issues and work collaboratively to develop contingency plans

Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00
