Summary of Position:
The Program Coordinator provides clinical oversight to Specialty Behavioral Health staff and provides direct high-quality patient-centered care coordination as an integral part of a dynamic multi-interdisciplinary team. Care is provided in the clinic and outside in the community meeting each of our patients “where they are”.
Key duties include:
· Responsible for overseeing behavioral health programs, ensuring integration with community resources, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.
· Develop and monitor quality improvement plans and program objectives.
· Train, evaluate and provide clinical oversight to Specialty Behavioral Health clinicians that provide direct patient care including assessments, counseling, and case management.
· Serve as liaison for patients, advocates, and community partners; resolve service-related issues.
· Participate in policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and special projects.
· Provide counseling for patients with addiction issues and co-occurring behavioral health disorders while maintaining a caseload to progress from associate to independent licensure.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
· Valid Arizona driver’s license and pass motor vehicle screening required.
· Must be available weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as scheduled to provide on call crisis intervention coverage (Schedule may vary based upon needs of clinic).
· BLS Certification.
· Active fingerprint clearance issued by Arizona Department of Public Safety required.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
Education:
· Master’s degree in behavioral health field (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work)
· Licensed at the Associate level by the Arizona Board of Behavioral health Examiners
Experience:
· Minimum of One (1) year of overall behavioral health experience required PLUS
· Minimum of Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience
· Experience in working with underserved populations is highly desirable
