Essential Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Oversees the engagement of facilities vendors including: maintenance, cleaning, utilities, communication services, and contractors.

Plans and develops capital expenditure rational, budgets, coordinates requests for proposals, vets proposals, and schedules facility modifications.

Inspects recurring vendor performance and construction / installation progress.

Tracks unplanned maintenance to guide development of planned maintenance.

Manages the receiving function for major facilities purchases.

Initiates and manages preventive and planned maintenance of facility building, equipment and systems, including cleaning services plus medical, HVAC and office equipment.

Manages the Security Supervisor and the fleet maintenance functions.

Supports safety and risk management functions in conjunction with assigned executives.

Develops and administers the annual budget.

Meets regularly with internal clients (Program Managers and Clinic Managers) to garner feedback on quality, vendor performance, and future ideas for enhancements.

Performs other duties as assigned to support and further the mission of the organization
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Basic Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and logistical management skills
- Project management and problem solving/analysis skills
- Minimum five years of facilities management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Computer skills: MS Office Suite, emphasis on MS Word and MS Excel
- Minimum 1-year Computerized Work Order Systems experience
- Minimum 2-year healthcare facilities experience
- Minimum 1-year of Emergency Operations Planning experience
- Knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, and HRSA or Joint Commission regulations
- Experience with Federal, State, and other regulatory Auditors
- Able to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to accept occasional calls during off hours
- Position requires extended periods of sitting and standing
- Position requires regular bending and reaching
- Able to adapt to rapid, unpredictable work flow
- Experience with the underserved population preferred
