Your Role:
As a Night On-Call Registered Nurse, you will be integral in providing compassionate nursing care and case management for our hospice patients and their families. You will:
- Implement personalized care plans, providing symptom management, pain relief, and interventions to ensure comfort.
- Oversee hospice admissions and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
- Educate families and caregivers on effective symptom management and end-of-life care techniques.
- Conduct support visits at the first-in-the-area Guest House, further supporting our mission to ensure that "no one should die alone."
Qualifications:
- RN Nursing License in the State of Nevada.
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, ideally in oncology, med-surg, hospice, or home care.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer navigation.
- Willingness to travel in possible weather and within service area of the Washoe/Lyon/Carson/Storey/Douglas Counties.
