Job Description Summary
The Category Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of an assigned product or service category within a Business Unit or geography. They collaborate closely with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions, ensuring optimized assortment; analyze industry and consumer trends, develop strategies, and oversee pricing, promotion, and product range management to maximize sales and profitability; they may also supervise or provide direction to the Category Administrator or other merchandising staff positions.
