Employment Status:
Part-time, not eligible for benefits. Employee shall work an average of 29 hours or less per week, unless pre-approved by the Upper School Director. Weekly hours shall be recorded for benefit purposes only.

Job Goal:
A Teacher, or Classroom Instructor, is responsible for supervising, educating and supporting students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks. Teachers are responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment in order to optimize student capabilities and develop their love of learning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are but illustrate the general duties required of the position. Leadership reserves the right to and may require the successful candidate to perform duties other than those contained in this document.
- Planning lessons that target specific skills and concepts to the appropriate subject that provide individual support and feedback for their students.
- Tracking the progress of their students and maintain a course page through the eLearning Campus to support the class for the students and their parents.
- Ability to develop rapport with all types of students in order to have strong and meaningful relationships with them and their parents.
- Ability to work as a team with other teachers and staff members.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Passionate about the work and mission of Circle Christian School, highly organized, and extremely detail-oriented.
- Strong appreciation and understanding of a faith-based, independent school environment.
- Collaboration with colleagues and administration of Circle Christian School.
- Attendance at two teacher workshops a year, provided by Circle Christian School, are required.
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution
Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Education Credentials and Job Qualifications:
A teaching certificate.
